are due early next year and at least two key players, the Army Chief and the Chief Justice of Pakistan, are due to retire later in the year.

Post 26/11, right-thinking Pakistanis, including military men, have acknowledged the horror of Mumbai and the damage that it has done not only to Indo-Pak relations but also to Pakistan itself. They have also recognized that if things do not change, the situation can only degenerate further.
